Illinois EPA Electronics Landfill Ban

In 2009, the State of Illinois passed the Electronics Products Recycling & Refuse Act which bans various electronics from landfills. So you cannot just throw this e-waste into your trash.

Why Wait for a Collection Event?

While there are periodic e-waste collection events in the area, why wait?   We can pick-up e-waste at your place, at your convenience, even outside of work hours.

We Wipe Your Data

To protect from ID theft, we will wipe your functioning hard disk drives with a 7-pass process for free. If the disk does not operate, we can disassemble the drive and subject the platters to a heavy duty magnet for a small $5 fee (or return the disk to you - no charge).

Recycled Responsibly in Illinois

Our recycler is one of the largest in Illinois. They disassemble the e-waste here, so there are no worries about your electronics ending up in some third world country.
